PEOPLE PLEASING

Embrace the power of NO and protect your energy, time and dreams

People Pleasing

People-pleasing refers to a pattern of behaviour where a person goes to great lengths to make others around them happy. This is done at the expense of their own needs and wellbeing.

There are several reasons why we become people-pleasers. It could be the fear of rejection, low self-esteem, conflict avoidance, lack of assertiveness, past experiences or family expectations. Habitual people pleasing tendencies can lead to a self-destructive path over a course of time as their happiness is at stake.
Striking a balance between kindness to others and to ourselves will lead to healthier relationships and greater personal fulfilment.

So, if you’ve been dancing to everyone else’s tunes and want to reclaim your life’s rhythm, I am here for you. We will work together to set boundaries and say 'NO' with unapologetic confidence.
